An amazing floating boat/conveyor belt sushi experience! The staff were so nice and checked in and interactive! All the food was delicious! Staff will sometimes make new creative dishes for you to try. Locals come in as well and the staff remember them! I highly recommend them!

Rotary Boat Sushi. Friendly staff, tasty & fresh rolls. Quick to make custom requests. Most items $4 a plate.

Love this place. Small business, clean and kind. They do have a menu of sushi and Japanese hot foods. But mainly they are a Sushi Rotary / Boat restaurant - they don’t really advertise that on the outside but it is the main attraction and great. What’s best about this “rotary” joint is you can talk to the chefs in front of you and make requests like a normal sushi bar as well.

Amazing restaurant! The food was fresh and beautifully presented, and the service was excellent. Highly recommend for anyone who loves Japanese cuisine.

I stumbled upon Taste of Tokyo, a small family-run sushi spot, and I’m so glad I did. It truly is one of those hidden gem places that you immediately want to tell everyone about — but also kind of want to keep as your own secret. The atmosphere is cozy and relaxed, the kind of place where you instantly feel comfortable. The staff is incredibly welcoming and friendly — you can tell it’s a family business because there’s a real sense of pride and care in everything they do. They greet you like you’ve been coming in for years. The sushi itself is fresh, simple, and delicious — no unnecessary flash, just quality ingredients prepared well. Every roll we tried tasted clean and well-balanced. You can tell they really care about what they’re serving. If you’re looking for a laid-back place with genuinely good sushi and a warm, personal touch, Tokyo is absolutely worth a visit. It’s the kind of place you end up returning to again and again.

When comparing the same plate costing $3.65 at Kura Revolving Sushi Bar, the Taste of Tokyo stands out as the better option. The quality, taste, freshness, and presentation of the sushi are all excellent. The only drawback is that some plates contain only one piece of nigiri or one roll, yet they are priced the same as those with more pieces. Overall, Taste of Tokyo is an excellent sushi belt restaurant.
